General Feature Requests

During the presentation, currently the timer is position of the timer is fixed at the upper left corner which might sometimes covering text on the slide and block the view. It will be great if the timer can be movable.

When I present a Menti directly through the Microsoft Teams integration, the QR code is visible to me as the presenter, but it is not visible to the audience viewing the presentation in Teams. This creates a problem for hybrid events. Some participants are attending through Teams, while others are watching on a large screen in a room. Not everyone has access to Teams, and some participants need to join using their phone by scanning the QR code. The Teams integration appears to show participants an in-meeting response view instead of displaying the presenter’s QR code and joining instructions. However, the QR code is still visible in the presenter view, which makes it unclear whether it is being shared with the audience. Please allow presenters to display the active Menti QR code directly within the Teams presentation view, so that it is visible to all viewers, including external participants and people watching on a shared screen. Ideally, the QR code should be embedded or shown as part of the shared presentation rather than appearing only as a presenter-side overlay. This would make it easier for everyone to participate, regardless of whether they are using Teams, a phone, or a web browser. A hybrid presentation option that displays the QR code, joining instructions, and participation code to all viewers would provide a much smoother experience.

Previously in Mentimote we had the ability to seamlessly and discreetly remove answers in word clouds and open-ended questions. Answers appeared in a box in real time, providing an efficient way to moderate the presentation. Removing an irrelevant or distracting answer was done with just a single click. Now, I cannot find any method to remove answers from Mentimode. The only workaround is to turn off responses, locate the response in the presentation window (which is visible to the audience), and click the trash icon. To decrease visibility of distracting answers I could hide the answers during live presentation, but over all this method causes the following: 1) Tells my audience something is off, creating a distraction 2) Stops my presentation flow. 3) Can achieve the desired outcome of the disruptor in the audience: to get attention. 4) Can become contagious, and promote other audience members to act like disruptors. This completely defeats one of the purposes of Mentimode: discrete and efficient moderation. I have been using mentimeter in Higher education over the past 4 years. In my experience, the best strategy to prevent disruptors in the audience , is to avoid giving them the attention they seek. Removing unwanted comments seamlessly, without the audience noticing was possible in mentimote in the past. It has tremendous value for efficient moderation. Please bring it back.

That would be great if the audience would have the possibility to zoom on the image in order to pin more precisely.

Having a message popping up during live presentation interrupts the flow. I would like to be able to pre-approve a link for live presentations.

I am disappointed with the new update that the presenter notes are now fixed on the right side of the screen instead of directly below the slides. This makes presenting more difficult when I'm sharing my screen in a Zoom meeting as I have to arrange the Zoom windows precariously so they don't cover up the notes in Mentimeter and now it appears as though I'm looking off to the side when I'm referring to my notes instead of having them in the middle which was a more natural eye position. I hope to see an update in the future that allows a central placement of the notes in Mentimote again.

Please allow us to disable feedback after a survey. Who wants to give feedback on a survey in which they just gave feedback?

I'd like option of removing the end of presentation feedback i.e. the feedback that results in response of "Your audience loved your last session - check out their feedback!" My students are already over surveyed and i don't want to give an additional burden. I know students can ignore, but i have concern for the knock on effect of over surveying in other aspects of their academic life.

Add a possibility to disable participant feedback ratings.
