For nealry a decade I've used online apps hat let me insert a visual or video/audio file as a link from a remote hosted source. Because the ads and privacy/security in YouTube are rubbish, we use Vimeo for all our hosted vidoe materials.. We have anti-Menti people using this one gap in capability to undermine support - as it wastes a lot of time in an are where video is an essential content type for audience attention grabbing

Disappointed to see how long this thread has been going on for without an update. I have an audience paced module ready to go with 28 videos imbedded and I'm unable to use it for customers because of the you tube adds. Is this being looked into as I see Brent's comment from 8 weeks ago is still unanswered?

please add vimeo embedded videos. Mentimeter has video on vimeo, why not use them in mentimeter? I cannot make my videos public or risk security issues putting them up on youtube and the recommended video option cant be turned off so youtube is a non-starter. This request has been in here since 2020, this is crazy... can we get feedback when this will be on the roadmap please and thanks?

Hello! just started creating my first presentation, and I'd really love for it to be possible to embed Vimeo videos, not only Youtibe vids. I use the Vimeo screen recorder, and being ableto embed videos recorded and hosted there would really streamline mu production. Hope you will consider this!

Hello. We are paid members of Vimeo to specifically host our videos without having to see ads. Copying our videos onto Youtube only to accomodate menti is 1) a drag 2) disrupts the experience with ad interjections!
Please consider hosting other platforms for videos, particularly platforms like Vimeo which provide ad-free experience.

With the availability of software to create our own bespoke content videos it seems odd that this request and debate has been going on for quite a few years now. When can we upload our own MP4 videos as this functionality would be so much better? I can do it with PowerPoint and can have interactive software as an add-in, but I do prefer Mentimeter. Please add this feature, or provide a response as to why it cannot be added?
