It would be easier to move the slides around if I could see what the image was on the slide through a thumbnail view.

If the slide preview window showed an image of the slide like Powerpoint does it would be much easier to navigate the program and move slides to correct places in the presentation.

I have a feature request: would it be possible to show thumbnails of the slides in the navigation bar in the left? Now once i have imported or created a lot of slides, it is hard to find or replace slides as they just have a number.

YES! Otherwise I'm having to name each one and try to remember which are named what! (which becomes a daunting task when there are more than 10 or 15 slides.)
