Secure voting (100% on that one vote per voter)

Prevent participants to vote multiple times

We are using your platform for a talent competition. For fair play for all, it would be great to prevent users to vote over multiple browsers on their device, like using an IP tracker to prevent this.

Also:
Secure voting via inlog decreases anonimity (depending on implementation) which I would accept by the way.
But maybe a category "information-security" is more fitting then "Privacy" then?

Deny the same user from submitting multiple answers through (in-private, or incognito) browsing mode.

I was able to submit multiple answers to the same question through my browser using (in-private, or incognito) browsing mode. If I may suggest that you might want to improve your API somehow to rely on something else besides the cookies.

A much needed feature. Tools such as Surveymonkey have this. It would be very easy to implement - just import a list of email addresses or phone numbers and generate a unique personal invite by email or text.

YES. I want to use Mentimeter for a formal voting process for a large democratic body I'm part of... but I can't because this option is not available.
I need to ensure that each participant only logs in and votes on each question ONCE (like with the tool 'Opavote). (Currently they could open an incognito window and vote again, or vote once from their desktop and once from their phone.)
It would be great if Mentimeter was able to receive a list of unique email addresses, and give each email address a unique login code. (This would also allow people to give each other their codes if they were not able to attend the meeting and wanted to give someone else their 'proxy'.)

I had a problem in one of my presentations. One student discovered that in incognito mode you can vote as many times as you want. So he/she voted many many times ruining the whole activity. Is there a way to know his ip address in order to prevent his participation in the future presentations?

An essential feature. Today I can vote how many times I want to. I just need to open an "incognito tab" on my browser. But, I don't know how to not ruin current usability with an audience's authentication.

Could not agree more! This is the only thing keeping me from using Mentimeter instead of my current system. Many of my participants share devices to vote.
