Hi Sandy and all voters,
We've now released a feature for removing input from word clouds and open ended questions!
You can read more about it here: https://www.mentimeter.com/blog/stay-current-with-mentimeter/new-in-mentimeter-ranking-question-type-and-remove-input-from-word-clouds
Thank you for helping us build a better Mentimeter!

In a classroom that would come quite handy when dealing with spelling mistakes. It's one option if you as the 'presenter' can delete or better edit a specific entry. It would be even better to get the person who originally put in the word the chance to 'correct' their entry.

I'd like to be able to "kick" words from the wordcloud on the fly
Clicking the word could either just kick the word immediately or bring up a small menu with options to kick, edit etc.

A participant on a survey I recently did realized that they could submit up to 10 times, and also that the polling was not closed after the end of my presentation, and therefore was able to add the word "Sex" to the question "What do you remember most from this tutorial?". This made it so when I looked back on the results, the word "Sex" was right in the middle of the word cloud in the largest font. This totally annulled the purpose of my survey, and I think it would be reasonable to be able to remove that.
