I am after speaker notes being able to be imported and exported from mentimeter. The highest priority is the ability to import them. but, it would be nice to be able to export also.

It's pretty annoying not to have this. This is regular presentation software too, not just interactive quizzing -- please prioritize this simple feature, it's just a text field.
I see you're working on it Mentimote, but I don't use that and don't want to. Please add it to the main app.

It would be great to have the ability to add presentation notes that would be visible to me when using Mentemote.
Obviously you couldn't have them visible in the main presentation as they would be visible when sharing screen.

We are currently working to make this happen via Mentimote (our remote control app) but I cannot yet promise a concrete timeframe for a release.

You need to duplicate the PPT "Presentation View" feature. That gives a preview of the next slide and any notes for the current slide.
