codes stay forever

I don't use QR codes. I don't use the URLs as they are hard to read out to conference audiences. I use the number codes and you are expiring them every X days. I have to log in every X days and keep them. Why?
Because they are in slides. My presentations are all over YouTube. I wrote a book and put a Menti code in it. I can't let those expire. That would be really bad for people reading my book.
I'm a paying customer but I would pay monthly or yearly to have codes that never expire. What's the diff between letting me refresh it every 14 days and letting me pay once to not have to log in every 13 days and worry I will forget?!?! I will pay for that.
Thanks.

Hi,
Sorry, but we won't provide non-expiring numeric codes since that would mean we set a limit on e.g., 999 999 presentations in total and would need to have longer and longer codes.
The QR code and link to voting don't expire though, so feel free to print them or put them in the PPT as needed–it's just the digit code (e.g., 1234 5678) that expires after a period of inactiviy.

agree, would love the ability to control how this happens, with the option for the code not to expire, rather than some seemingly random expiry dates set by the system.
We have a number of presentations that we are using at different meetings. We print out the QR and code for the audience and leave on seats to facilitate their logging on. Frustrating that we then have to reprint for subsequent meetings. And when a team member hands out the old code, it causes confusion.
We would love to be able to assign a non expiring QR and code for each presentation.

Simon Morris: Agree here as well. When you are preparing well in advance for several workshops and groups and PowerPoint presentations, it's very annoying having to go in and activate the menti so as not to lose the code. There should be a toggle whereby I can decide how many days the code should last, not only 72 hours.
