Basic data validation options in open ended questions e.g., Year = 4 digit numeric

In the open ended questions like word cloud, please include some basic data validation options I can set e.g., year of birth can only be 4 digits or a 140 character limitation so I can use responses for Twitter campaigns.

It would be helpful if one could restrict the input types (e.g. to numeric and/or symbols only) for Open-Ended questions. For mathematics lectures, such a feature would prevent audience members from writing non-mathematical responses.

Maybe easier, allow for date question/answer types, as well as numeric answer types, currency answer types, etc. This takes away the need for difficult development rules.
